Porsche 911 by Paul Stephens

UK Porsche Specialist Paul Stephens launches his new PS Autoart Classic Touring 911 and we had the pleasure of catching up with Paul and Rebecca Stephens at the 2016 London Yacht, Jet & Prestige Car Show and took some shots of this amazing piece of automobile craftsmanship. It was Paul Stephens first time at the London Yacht, Jet & Prestige Car show and they sure did turn a number of heads displaying their Autoart Classic Touring 911 right in front of the River Thames at Old Billingsgate.

Just to give you a bit about the company before we head into the unique details of the car.

Paul Stephens himself was established as a Porsche specialist since 1994 and launched his original PS Autoart collection of classic and retro styled 911s featuring modern features and performance in 2005.

Fast forward to 2016 and with over a decade of development, the new series 2 Classic Touring is the perfect fusion of original styling meeting modern technology.

Like any other personalisation specialist you always want to create something that is by far different to everything that already exists out there and so that is exactly what Paul did and still continues to do.

Paul Stephens quite smartly uses the exterior vintage appearance of the 911 but however making it broader and a lot more aggressive, something all Porsche lovers enjoy, especially when you now have a unique Porsche designed by Paul Stephens.

Now, lets get into more of the interior detail of this unique model.

Inside, the original vinyl basket-weave has been reproduced in leather, whilst every plastic switch or control has been replaced with a machined anodised aluminium item. The original period style seats have electric operation, whilst an integrated retractable iPhone allows you to use APPS, maps, music and of course the phone legally on the move. A unique and beautiful Paul Stephens designed steering wheel fits perfectly in your hands, whilst bespoke Italian luggage sits neatly fastened on folded seats in the rear.

With all the minor details in the description above it still doesn’t do it much justice without sinking into the drivers seat accompanied with a passenger to experience the drive with you. Paul Stephens also provides leather duffle bags which compliments your luggage in style the PS way.

We also took a look at the engine compartment situated at the rear of the Porsche. First and foremost it was an amazing sight and took a while to absorb the ‘muscle’. The Paul Stephens Autoart Classic Touring 911 car has so many unique outstanding features, one from the many already mentioned is the modern fuel injection incorporating perfectly reproduced throttle intakes that visually mimic the original MFI system, whilst modern Porsche brakes and litronic headlamps hide behind the period wheels and lenses.

The new PS Classic Touring is deliberately styled with conservative European taste in mind, like wearing a pair of the finest handmade English brogues, those in the know will know, and those who don’t know don’t need to know.
