Joya de Antaño 1970 Nicaragua and Apothic Red wine
Antaño means in Spanish “nostalgia”, a word that is perfect for the Joya de Nicaragua Antaño 1970. Created as a tribute to the power and the essence of the cigar where this legendary brand is very wel known. It was the most sought after cigar in America after the Cuban embargo by 1970; making this article very special to me.
The Antaño 1970 is exclusively handmade from only tobacco from Nicaragua, making it a robust but spicy cigar with a lot of body and aroma that is most suitable for experienced cigar lovers.
This cigar is a Nicaragua Puro.

When I smoke this cigar I prefer to drink a Apothic Red wine, which for me is an exceptional complimentary beverage. It’s a Wine makers blend, 2014 from California and he is made from beautiful grapes – Syrah, Zindadel, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. He got as much as 88 points Parker, and that makes it unique for this price range. This red Apothic Red has in the smell of wonderful aromas of black fruit, chocolate, spices, vanilla and something of mocha and plum.
Both the cigar and red wine together make my day.
