The Geneva motorshow presented the highly anticipated 2017 Bugatti Chiron. Packing a massive 8-liter W-16 engine with 4 turbochargers , the Chiron pushes out an unbelievable 1,500-horsepower and 1,180 lb.-ft. of torque, the most ever for a mass production car. The team at Bugatti have created a masterpiece.
The production of this vehicle will see it being light weight (literally) and carbon fibered-out. This in effect, introduces a positive overall performance to the fastest street legal car alive.
That pushes this blue behemoth along to 60-mph in less than 2.5-seconds, and onwards to a theoretical top speed of over 260-mph, and that’s with a limiter on. Bugatti will undoubtedly let the Chiron stretch its legs, and with power figures like that, it seems there’s no end to how fast this thing can go.
Permanent all-wheel-drive and a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox keep everything in check (barely), and an intelligent traction control system – not to mention massively wide tires – will help to keep all 4,400-pounds of this French titan on the ground.
“WE HAVE MADE THE BEST EVEN BETTER”
President Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S.
“It is part of human nature to cross boundaries and set new records – to run 100 m faster than ever before, to fly even further into space and to enter new realms. This striving is also our driving force at Bugatti. The Chiron is the result of our efforts to make the best even better. Bugatti has tested the limits of physics. There is no area where we have not achieved significant improvements.”
As well as having an amazing leather and glossy material fitted enhancing the drivers luxurious experience, this edition will see it having a navigation system installed as apposed to previous Bugatti models.
Overall, this hyper car will be a beast once released to its car collectors from around the world
